Purdue Pumpkin Chunkin’ Competition

Did you ever want to build a trebuchet (treb-yoo-shet)?

Can you hit the Great Pumpkin target from up to 100 yards away using a gravity powered trebuchet launching 7 to 10 lb. pumpkins?

Sign up as a team to compete or come out to watch and see which team is the best.

• Setup and practice at Noon – 3:00 pm
• Open to the public at 4:00 PM (parking, food trucks & booths) Qualifying starts at 4:30 pm
• Competition begins at 6:00 pm
• Awards are at 7:00 pm.

Event will take place rain or shine.
